You will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla on this day. Before your scheduled journey, your guide will accompany you to the international terminal. These flights are booked during the morning to guarantee you can land because the weather in Lukla may be quite challenging to interpret because of the wind in the afternoon. You will enjoy the greatest views of the mountains and the Himalayas if the weather is clear.

After you land, You will be supported by porters as you make your way to Phakding, descend to the Dudh Koshi River, pass through the villages of Chheplung, Ghat, Sano, and Thulo Gumela and Chorten, as well as the monasteries of Drangdrak Gompa and Pema Choling Gompa, all while taking in the breathtaking views of the Kumbila and sister summit Kusum Kanguru. The calming melody of the Dudh Koshi River will be there to accompany your journey as you travel with mules and other hikers. Phakding is the final stop before bed.

You'll be traveling to Namche Bazar, also known as the "capital of the Sherpas," today. After breakfast, take the trek through the towns of Zamphute and Tok Tok to see the morning sunlight beams sparkling Thamserku Peak. The trek crosses many suspension bridges, including the well-known Hillary Suspension Bridge, before passing the Dudh Koshi, a milky glacial river that flows up to Monjo. The route becomes quite difficult to climb uphill toward Jorsalle village as you enter the national park. But after a time, the tough trail rewards you with a magnificent view of Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, Everest, and Nuptse.

After a short break, continuing on a tough route upward towards Namche Bazaar until you reach an incredible high bridge that crosses the Dudhkoshi River valley. Just before this bridge, the Dudhkoshi River meets its branch, the Bhote Koshi. You'll get your first view of Mount Everest as you ascend, gazing over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge; Namche is just a short climb from here.

You will have a day off after getting to Namche Bazaar to adapt the weather. Over the next four days, the journey will take you over 4,000 meters. Since there may be significant health risks that are associated with motion sickness, relaxing will be our primary aim at that time.

Even though it is a rest day, you may take a little excursion in the hills above Namchebazar in the direction of the village of Syangboche. You will go to the Everest View Hotel, which is one of the greatest deluxe hotels in the world. You could even enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Mount Everest, Nuptse, Kwange, Kangtega, Lhotse, Taboche, and Khumbila from the hotel's balcony.

We take a path from Namche to Tengboche. The trail from Namche to Tengboche is referred as the most beautiful trekking route   on whole Everest Base Camp Trek. You will reach Phungithanga as you continuouslly walk your way down the mountainside above the Dudh Koshi River. The lovely route changes into a more difficult uphill trek as you cross Phungithanga. Before reaching Tengboche, you must cross the Imja Khola, a tributary of the Dudh Koshi River, which is covered by a rhododendron forest.

Tengboche is famous for its Buddhist temple, Tengboche Monastery. It is indeed a historic monastery at a high altitude with spectacular views of the Everest region. Make sure to check out the monastery's incredible paintings and statues. You may get a close-up view of Ama Dablam as well as the nearby mountains, which include Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse.

Following the Imja Khola after an early breakfast, the path climbs up towards the village of Shemar and passes the tree line, changing the environment to desert, dry areas with spots of coniferous trees, scrub, and isolated agricultural lands.

You will continue the lower route to the Imja Khola bank as you reach the next town, Orsho. Just before you reach Dingboche, there are several chortens, mani walls, and prayer flags. After crossing a modest mountain, you will finally arrive at the expansive village of Dingboche, which is in a windy, frigid region with nighttime lows of 0 degrees even in the summer.

The village has a variety of viewpoint spots that are excellent for acclimatization trips; this is your second day of acclimatization.Nagarjun Hill, which rises gradually from Dingboche to its top at 5,100 meters, gives stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lobuche, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cholatse, and Kangtega.

You have the option to explore the village on something like a lovely walk if you are in great condition and looking for more experience.

The path gradually gets more tough as it rises rapidly over the slope of Khumbu Glacier. You will reach the peak of Thukla Pass after conquering the narrow ridge's tough hike. A large number of stone monuments honoring departed climbers may be seen in this region.

Following this pass, you will travel through green valleys and mountainous territory to reach Lobuche. The only permanent habitations in this village are teahouses. The striking views of high mountains just beside Tea houses will surround you. It is in a small valley situated between Khumbu Glacier and Lobuche Peak. You will be able to admire at Taboche and Nuptse's spectacular climb above the teahouse.

Enjoy the view while falling asleep comfortably early in the morning. The base camp of the tallest mountains in the world, Everest, is where you'll complete your adventure tomorrow.

The wait is finally over. You are currently on the days of your journey which are the most predictable. We leave for Gorak Shep, which is at a height of 5181 meters, after a relaxing breakfast. You should travel the challenging path for a number of hours before getting Gorak Shep. You will get your first view of Kala Patthar as you reach Gorak Shep. You will be given little time to relax and leave the heavy luggage before starting to trek once more in the way of Everest Base Camp. You will be strolling next to the Khumbu Glacier while passing through several tiny rivers and glacial mountain.

With its ice formations, gray rocks, and tiny scars, the Khumbu Glacier looks like the lunar surface. Your trip towards Mount Everest's base, which is the highest mountain in the world, will take approximately two hours. For everyone, it is a proud moment. You've been awaiting the day for a week now. You will have the time of your life as you explore the ice structures and little water pools. Be careful since stones and glacier can cause foot injuries. You soon arrive at Everest Base Camp, the trek's destination.

Celebrate the moments with your companions and guides. You are now in the base camp of Mount Everest, the tallest peak in the world. From Everest Base Camp, you can already see Nuptse, Pumori, Khumbu Glacier, Khumbu Icefall, Khumbutse, and a limited amount of Everest. Gorak Shep is where you should spend the night after sightseeing the base camp.

The journey to the famous Kala Patthar landmark begins the day before dawn. Despite being short, the path is difficult due to its topographic and rough surface. So, get up before the sun and proceed to Kalapatthar, which is located at 5545 meters. It is the peak of your trekking adventure. You soon arrive at the best viewpoint. You will forget all your problems when the sunlight goes through the tallest mountain.   From the top, you can see Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Pumori, and many more of the world's tallest peaks, as well as the sunrise over the Himalayas.

After enjoying one of the greatest moment of your life it's time to return back to Gorak Shep, Lobuche and finnally  from Dughla, choose a different path towards Pheriche along the Khumbu Khola. Once you get at Pheriche, head towards tea house and have a good sleep remembering the beautiful day that you have capture in your mind.

After completing your peak-climbing adventure, we return to Namche's Sherpa Town. The trail is indeed long. The vistas of the mountains continue. Therefore, pause sometimes to take in further beauties of the Everest area. Most of the day will be spent traveling through vast evergreen and rhododendron bushes. Rare animals including Himalayan mythological beasts, wild goats, musk deer, and wild turkeys could also be visible. We gently make our way to Namche from the settlements of Orsho, Somare, Pangboche, and Tengboche while admiring the mountains.

Take a nice shower once you reach Namche to complete the day. To enjoy fresh homemade baked goods or your favorite drink, you might request that to your guide to accompany you to nearby cafés.

Before approaching Lukla, where the walk comes to an end, you will pass several Buddhist temples, masonry walls, and chortens once the path turns back downhill. You make your way to Lukla while admiring the beautiful mountain views along through jorsale, Monjo and Phakding. . The gorgeous mountainous hills and lush woods will keep us engaged the entire experience. Enjoy the last few minutes of your Everest trekking while taking in the final sights of the enormous mountains.

Celebrate the success of your EBC with all your crews and teammates in the evening. Be thankfully to everyone who helped to transport your stuff, especially the porters. The trekking group will have a moment of celebration. Sing and dance with the porters and guides while enjoying endless rounds of local beverages.

The team flies from Lukla to Kathmandu early in the morning, where they spend the day relaxing or shopping for gifts. To celebrate the team's successful completion of their journey.

Unforgettable Once In A Lifetime Experience To EBC Led By Arjun & 3 Amazing Porters

Our journey started in 3 different cities in Malaysia, 6 travellers in all - Myself and my good friend Ray started out from Johor Bahru, Suk(the only female in our group) & Ricgen's journey started from Mallaca, the 4 of us met with See and Su in their home town of Kuala Lumpur, (KL) Malaysia. 6 of us met in KL and departed from KL international airport for Kathmandu Nepal. where Arjun Dhakal met us at the airport and we transferred to our hotel and finalised all details for the EBC trek. The next day we flew out to Lukla and this is where the real adventure began. The actual trip is a story for another time all I will say is that this adventure was absolutely amazing in fact so amazing that I'm contemplating doing ABC with Arjun next year sometime. Arjun and his team were very professional, his personable character allows for a very relaxed but very organised approach to everything during our trip. The EBC adventure was one of the most amazing adventures I have ever experienced I would add that this trip rates equal to The Kokoda trek I completed in Papua Nuigini. I want to express my gratitude to Arjun Dhakal and his team at Bharal adventures you were amazing and I would recommend this team to anyone interested in doing EBC Kind Regards & friends for life Gavin Page

Everest Base Camp Trek Dec- 24 – Jan 05 2019

Atemberaubend Und Immer Wieder Schn

Frequently Asked Questions

The standard trek duration is around 12 to 14 days, including acclimatization days. However, the total duration can vary based on the specific itinerary and the starting point.

While it is possible to trek independently, many trekkers opt for a guide and/or porter. A guide can provide valuable information about the region, and a porter can carry your heavy backpack, allowing you to enjoy the trek without the burden.

Trekkers need to obtain the Sagarmatha National Park Permit and the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit. Additionally, if you're trekking independently, you may need a TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card.

The trek is considered moderately challenging. The trail involves both uphill and downhill sections, and the altitude can pose a challenge. Prior trekking experience is beneficial, but it's not mandatory.

Most tea houses and lodges offer Wi-Fi for a fee, and phone signal is generally available along most of the trekking route. However, connectivity may be limited or unreliable in remote areas.
