Everest Base Camp trek

We just returned from an amazing week from EBC. This trip was amazing for 7 of us with Bharal adventure. This time with our sherpa, Mr mountain man, Suraj Dhakal. The journey 8 days trekking up and 3 days going down for 6-8 hours daily. Drinking 5 liters of water a day without showering for more than 5 days. Add to that is the difficulty in breathing and the freezing temperature (mind that we're from a tropical country). These are the struggles we had but are just nothing compared to the priceless overall experience. The very lovable Nepalese and their rich culture, the ice caps, the architecture, the landscapes and the animals we got to see. And experiencing the world's most dangerous airport and the precious feeling of seeing the world's highest mountains. I cannot recommend Mr Arjun, Mr Suraj and his team highly enough. His expertise, dedication, commitment, skill, kindness & sense of humour mark him out as a remarkable man - one to whom our group owe a huge debt of gratitude. Nepal has this slogan for Himalayas, "Once is not enough". No doubt that everybody would agree to this. Beautiful country with beautiful people. This place really deserves to be visited again!

Unforgettable once in a lifetime experience To EBC led by Arjun & 3 amazing porters

Our journey started in 3 different cities in Malaysia, 6 travellers in all - Myself and my good friend Ray started out from Johor Bahru, Suk(the only female in our group) & Ricgen's journey started from Mallaca, the 4 of us met with See and Su in their home town of Kuala Lumpur, (KL) Malaysia. 6 of us met in KL and departed from KL international airport for Kathmandu Nepal. where Arjun Dhakal met us at the airport and we transferred to our hotel and finalised all details for the EBC trek. The next day we flew out to Lukla and this is where the real adventure began. The actual trip is a story for another time all I will say is that this adventure was absolutely amazing in fact so amazing that I'm contemplating doing ABC with Arjun next year sometime. Arjun and his team were very professional, his personable character allows for a very relaxed but very organised approach to everything during our trip. The EBC adventure was one of the most amazing adventures I have ever experienced I would add that this trip rates equal to The Kokoda trek I completed in Papua Nuigini. I want to express my gratitude to Arjun Dhakal and his team at Bharal adventures you were amazing and I would recommend this team to anyone interested in doing EBC Kind Regards & friends for life Gavin Page

Excellent people!

After many searches on the internet, fate took me to contact Arjun, one of the founder of Bharal Adventure. After emailing for 2 months, I eventually took the trip to EBC. Arjun, despite being on the road or enroute to EBC always did his best to reply to my email or whatsapp and patiently responded to my question. He did that in between is trekking whenever he got internet access. This includes giving me a very good price for the trip. So, I took the trip in Apri to May 2018. I was met by Bharal Team at the Airport and took my hotel. The first impression was really good as the Team really looked after me well. They ensure everything was ok and constantly checking with me if everything was ok. They also ensure that I contact them if I needed assistance. I met Arjun the night before the trip. He is a very nice, pleasant and polite young man. He is very open to all the situations that I might face including the additional costs that might be incurred such as personal shopping, extra meals and coffees, tipping, etc. There were 5 of us in a group that trekked to EBC. We met at the airport in Kathmandu heading for Lukla. In Lukla, we were accompanied by 2 porters and 1 Sherpa and a group leader. So, there were 9 of us together as a team. The trip went very well despite we had to medivac 2 of our team members at Gorekshep. The Team organized the helicopter the night before and constantly in contact with their team member in Kathmandu to ensure our team members are looked after when they reached Kathmandu by helicopter. The rest of us, continued our trip to Cho La Pass and Gokyo Ri Lake. The view was fantastic. I promise myself, circumstances forbid, that I will be coming back and heading for higher altitudes. We completed the trip and along the way we built not only friendship with the entire team (including the sherpa and porters) but also a small family that travel and solve the issues together. When we arrived back at Lukla, we were stranded for 1 day due to bad weather. Our team leader ensured that we eat and sleep well and did his best through his connections to get us on the first flight the following day, despite we missed our original flight and there were many other passengers. In summary, the trip went very well and we were looked after extremely well by professional team of Bharal Adventure. My recommendation to potential clients of Bharal Adventure, if you have needs or concerns (including cost) please just be open to them. They are open, respected and young people who place trust and honesty very high in their business dealings.
