Overview

The Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek offers an excellent opportunity to experience the High Mountain and lowland village climate and culture. Due to the diversity in the region in terms of both, landscapes and ethnic group people are living in the region and along the trail. Some of these ethnic groups are Gurung, Magar, and Thakali. Bharal Adventure has researched thoroughly before creating this trekking holiday. Himalayan walking activity is definitely an intrepid act to do.

Annapurna is a Sanskrit word for “goddess of harvest”.  She is one of the most revered goddesses in Nepal. The massif also holds sacred connotations to Hindus in Nepal and adjoining areas. Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek offers this journey to the goddess of Mountains. This trek is one of the frequented treks in Nepal after Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Therefore, It is a tremendous opportunity to witness the breathtaking views of the Himalayas and sunrise.  Definitely, that would remain alive in memories for years to come tempting you to come to return to the embrace of the Himalayas.

Trekking in Annapurna Base Camp

The journey and adventure with this group were amazing as I met new friends along the trails. Having Deepak as our guide along with Gokul and Santosh as our porter were awesome. Never thought that we would have a helpful, talkative and super friendly guide. Always happy and tried to make our day more enjoyable. The best thing was my friend and I received birthday presents from Arjun and Deepak as our birthdays were happened to be on the next day. Thank you so much for everything and I’m hoping that we will meet again soon!

Step into serenity and peace, and taste the freedom of both mind and soul

One of my most memorable experience ever, as the hike was both challenging and invigorating. Once you gather a small moment to catch your breath, you lose it again, as you turn your gaze to the awesome natural surroundings and the breathtaking view. My friends and I in a party of 4, on a cool and sunny November trip, was trying out the Annapurna Base Camp hike. Normally it would take a week and more, but due to the limited time that we had, our hike was rushed in 5 days. Nonetheless, the journey was amazing and the hike itself is definitely worth the effort. Our helpful, funny, encouraging, dependable, friendly and most-importantly prompt guide, Deepak went above and beyond our expectations in providing the best possible service and guidance in our trip. It would not have been such a successful trip had we another guide. Our porter, Rajan that we had was also very funny and made the whole trip filled with laughter. That reduced our level of fatigue and tiredness tremendously. I was really amazed and glad that they had such good command of the English language. I realized communication with these bunch made this trip amazing. Deepak was great in estimating our pace, based on our hiking experience for the first and second day, and managed adjust it according to the limited time we had. Amongst the many selfies and scenery pictures we took along the way, we were able to maximize our time and get to each planned stop before the evening chill hit. Due to another expedition to the Everest Base Camp, Arjun, the owner of Bharal Adventure was unable to join our hike. However, he treated us as friends and took us on some sightseeing around Kathmandu once our hiking trip ended. I cannot stress how much joy I really had travelling with both Deepak, Rajan and Arjun. This will surely not be my last trip with these guys.

Hike to Annapurna Base Camp with Bharal Adventure exceed my expectation. Arjun (the guide) & the sherpas are most helpful, friendly and informative guides ever. I was very satisfied as they had all things planned throughout the hike. They also go extra miles to accommodate me. My pace was very slow during ascending and the sherpa assigned to me accompanied me till I arrived to the teahouses. Arjun is very informative person and rich with mountaineering's experience. Amazing Annapurna Base Camp Trek

My friends and I decided to go on an 8 day trek in Nepal for our grad trip and we couldn't have asked for anyone better than Arjun from Bharal Adventure to guide us through the experience. Right from the beginning of the planning stages, Arjun was extremely helpful and intent on ensuring we would get exactly the package that we wanted. Upon arriving in Nepal, even though I was first going to a retreat in another city before beginning the trek, Arjun came to the airport to pick me up and bring me to my destination. It is actions like this that truly make Bharal Adventure a company that truly cares. Arjun was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide who ensured not only our safety but our enjoyment! He made sure to take pictures for us and we had a lot of fun in the evenings playing Nepali card games. My friends and I now have found a friend in Arjun and we look forward to trekking again with him in the future

Annapurna Base Camp Trek (8 days)

My friends and I did the ABC trek as our grad trip with Arjun as our guide and had the most amazing experience. We were referred to Arjun by another friend and he helped us plan every detail of the trip from the very beginning, from which trek was suitable for us to what to bring and rentals. Our time in Nepal was limited and Arjun planned our trek itinerary accordingly. On the trek itself, Arjun and our two porters were excellent company, encouraging us along the way and teaching us Nepalese card games in the evening. When unfortunate weather made it so that we couldn't have good views at Poon Hill on day 2, Arjun edited our trek schedule so that we would stop in Tadapani in the evening and get amazing Himalayan views from there. I didn't think I would be able to do the trek, but everything went as smoothly as possible thanks to Bharal Adventure. It was definitely one of the most worthwhile and beautiful experiences of my life. I fell in love with Nepal and I'll be back someday to do more treks. Thank you Bharal Adventure!

Great Annapurna Base Camp

I just finished my Annapurna Base Camp trekking. It was really a great experience for me and my friends. Bharal Adventure really did their job really well in arranging the logistic and our guide/porter Lucky is very friendly, helpful and treat us very well. It was a time when we left some of our belongings at Chomrong, he ran and get them back. We were very thankful to him for his hard working. Coming from a tropical country, it was not easy for us trekking in the winter. But with the help from Lucky and his team we managed to do it well. Overall, I recommend everybody to use their service. You won't regret it.
