Helambu Climate Trek
Helambu is a region of highland villages in Nepal, about 80 km from Kathmandu. It is the home of the Hyolmo people. The word Hyolmo derives from the word Helambu. The Helambu region begins at the Lauribina La pass and descends to the Melamchi valley. The Helambu Climate Trek is a fascinating tour where you can marvel at Mother Nature’s magnificent scene. Green hills can be seen all around you as far as the eye can see. The orchids that sparkle in the trunks of trees make the entire surroundings dreamy, while the terraced fields grown with buckwheat are decked with white flower blossoms.
The global climate/atmosphere has been deteriorating day by day. Tree cutting, urbanisation, as well as people’s irresponsible polluting decisions have resulted in global warming, which has a negative long-term impact. The natural tragedy is unavoidable. An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 occurred in Nepal in April 2015. It resulted in a significant loss of lives and property. Bharal Adventure Team has collaborated with several organisations to reopen the Helambu trekking trail, which was obliterated by the same earthquake in 2015. You can take a walk in the pristine environment while admiring the distant vista of Jugal Himal via the rhododendron forests. You can get to know the locals, particularly the Sherpa and Tamang communities. In addition, All of this is accompanied by breathtaking vistas of verdant hills, valleys, and untamed mountains.
