Out of the many unbeaten trekking routes available in Nepal, Manaslu Circuit trek is one of the best trek routes to be done here. Many people are unknown about this trek route as it is less promoted, needs special permits, needs trekking guide, and costs you a little more.

Manaslu trek is never too crowded as there are very few number of trekkers in this region. The reason is this region is less promoted the other reason is it requires more number of days in comparison to other shorter treks. But with the change in time and choices of people its being popular day by day.

Major Attraction Of Manaslu Circuit Trek: Views, Wildlife, Landscapes

Stunning views of Manaslu, Cheo Himal, Himlung Himal, Nemjung and Kang Guru and  Annapurna II are the major attractions of this trek. The rich culture of mix tribe both the Tibetan and Nepalese are the unique attractions of this trek besides this wildlife that can be seen are the other major attractions of this route. Another interesting fact is if you are lucky enough you may even get a chance to witness the Snow leopard as well, which is an endangered species of Nepal. Larke Pass standing at an altitude of 5167m will be your other achievement if you could complete the trek. Another fascinating fact about this trek is if you have enough time you can even join the big Annapurna Circuit that joins after the Larke Pass at Dharapani. If you join the Annapurna Circuit you get another chance of being lost in the beautiful Landscape of Mananag and the surroundings. Lake Tilicho and the Thorangla Pass 5416m will be your other achievement if you continue with Annapurna Circuit after the Larke pass.

Manaslu Circuit Trek Permits

Manaslu Circuit trek is different from other routes on the fact that you need to have special permits as it is listed under reserved area by the Government of Nepal. You are not allowed to enter this trek route without a registered guide whom you can find in various trekking agencies. The giant Manaslu 8156m is often called as “KILLER MOUNTAIN” as there are frequent cases of disaster that happens during its summit. Manaslu summit isn’t that easy though.
