Accommodations in Langtang Region

The trekking trails in Langtang range is well managed with sufficient number of tea houses and lodges. Each of those homestays provides proper service of accommodation with bread and breakfast. But one have to keep in mind that such kind of mountain lodges have fewer services and facilities. The toilet may be just a latrine behind the hotel and hot shower might be a bucket full of warm water. Rooms may be just a wooden cell with only bed and mattress and curtains. Thus, one have to be ready to stay in the less decorated  hotels or homestays.

Food and Beverages during trek

The company itself provides all of the meals and beverages that are part of the Langtang Valley Trekking package. The tea houses and lodges along the path serve food. The lodge where we spend the night will serve breakfast and dinner. Our guide will choose the best spot to stop for lunch on the day journey. It is strongly advised that you bring water purification tablets with you on the hike so that you can drink clean water. There are possibilities to purchase both boiling and bottled water during the hike.

Transportation for the trek

Bharal Adventure offers all the transportation services you'll need for your journey. We offer private cars for sightseeing tours of Kathmandu and airport transportation. Similarly, we offer sightseeing bus transportation for your journey. You do, however, have additional choices, such as using private vehicles like automobiles or vans.

The transportation cost, which is not included in our plan, will be extra. For the most recent information on costs for tickets to flights and private transportation, feel free to inquire with us.

Best season for Langtang Valley Trek

Choosing the best time for the trek to Langtang Valley is selecting best chapter for your Himalayan story. Two seasons stands out for the best as golden period for this trekking.

Calm Spring (March to May)

Imagine walking through the mystical wonderland. That’s what spring brings to Langtang Region. The mountain sides explode with colour as the rhododendron paints the landscapes in hues of pink and red. The weather is generally mild, with clear blue skies becoming the norm. It's the perfect time to soak in the rejuvenating energy of nature awakening from its winter slumber.

Vibrant Autumn (September to November)

Autumn paints the Langtang Region with a different kind of magic. The monsoon's departure brings crisp, clear air, offering unparalleled mountain views. The weather is stable, making it ideal for trekking. Plus, you'll get to experience the vibrant energy of local festivals, adding an extra layer of cultural richness to your adventure.

Ultimately, the best time to trek depends on your personal preferences. Both Spring and Autumn offer unique charms and unforgettable experiences.

For smaller groups, we supply one guide; if there are more than ten people in the group, we will supply an extra guide.

Before You Go:

  • Get in Shape: This trek is considered moderate, but physical fitness is essential. Start training a few months before your trip with cardio exercises like hiking, running, or swimming.
